Plus: What Marvel superhero does Bruno need to play?
The Clauses are again! After the 2018 Netflix hit The Christmas Chronicles, we’ve been gifted with a sequel, the aptly named The Christmas Chronicles: Half Two. Santa Claus (Kurt Russell) reunites with the younger Kate Pierce (Darby Camp) and journey to Santa’s Village to try to cease a nefarious ex-elf (Julian Dennison) from ruining Christmas ceaselessly. However they are not doing it alone — they’re joined by Kate’s potential new stepbrother Jack (Jahzir Bruno) and Mrs. Claus herself (Goldie Hawn) to save lots of the day and unfold some dang cheer!
I used to be fortunate sufficient to talk with Bruno and his on-screen father Tyrese Gibson as a part of a Zoom press junket for The Christmas Chronicles: Half Two, and as you may see, they delivered on their background vacation decorations. We talked about Bruno’s have to step up his sport for this position, Gibson’s potential to hop from franchise to franchise with ease, the position Bruno would like to play within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and the enjoyable story behind their ultra-charming, ultra-improvised on-screen father-son handshake. Plus: Gibson calls Bruno “Younger King,” and if that does not make your coronary heart develop greater, I do not know what is going to.
The Christmas Chronicles: Half Two is now streaming on Netflix. Try my full interview with Gibson and Bruno beneath.
There’s somewhat one thing for everybody.
